Ensemble Studio Theatre is looking to fill ten positions of Production Assistants for our upcoming production of the 38th Marathon of One-Act Plays, a collection of ten short plays performing in a rotation of two Series of five plays apiece. This Marathon of One-Act Plays will celebrate the work of our community’s Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) artists.

The position pays $225/week for 3 weeks, either Series A or Series B, and the dates are:

Series A
Rehearsals (Series A) - 9/26 - 10/11
Tech (Series A) – 10/12 – 10/15

Series B
Rehearsals (Series B) - 10/3 - 10/18
Tech (Series B) – 10/19– 10/22

Tech schedule is:

Series A -
10/12 & 10/13: Individual piece techs
10/14 & 10/15: Final techs & Dress Runs

Series B -
10/19 & 10/20: Individual piece techs
10/21 & 10/22: Final techs & Dress Runs

The duties of this position will include:
- Overseeing a single play’s rehearsal process in the rehearsal room
- Working with Series A or B ASM to prep for handing off the play to them at tech
- Creating and sending rehearsal reports during the rehearsal process
