DESCRIPTION

The Yale Dramatic Association is accepting applications for Lighting Designer for our Spring Mainstage production of Intimate Apparel by Lynn Nottage! Those interested in applying should submit a current resume as well as a brief (1 page) proposal addressing your interest in light designing Intimate Apparel, any light design experience you may have, a bit of information about yourself/your background, why you’re interested in working with students, any specific artistic visions you’ve crafted for the show, and any other information you’d like to include. We will be holding interviews between October 27th and November 9th. The compensation for the Lighting Designer is $2,800.
The show is April 2-5, 2025.
The Yale University Dramatic Association (the Dramat) is an undergraduate organization at Yale College that operates as a student-run, non-profit production company. The organization produces six shows each academic year and is maintained by its Executive Board, made up of eleven students who collectively serve as the Dramat’s artistic and managing directors.
