DESCRIPTION

The Gallery Players in Park Slope is seeking a sound designer and a lighting designer for its upcoming Black Box New Play Festival. Co-producers: Sue Glausen and Dominic Cuskern.

The festival runs from January 16th-26th and features the world premiers of 7 plays (ranging from 10-45 minutes in length). The festival runs over two weekends. Each weekend will feature a separate program of plays: one weekend will feature four plays; the second weekend will feature three plays. The plays run on a Thursday through Sunday schedule.

Each weekend will have a separate period of tech. The first weekend will tech from Sunday, January 12th through Wednesday, January 15th from 7-11PM. The second weekend of tech will be from Sunday, January 19th through Wednesday, January 22nd from 7-11PM.

The lighting designer will design a Rep plot for the festival. The sound designer will be able to ccustom design the sound for each play as needed.

There is a one-time stipend of $400.
