Hosanna In the Highest Synopsis
Back by popular demand! BROADWAY COMES TO BROOKLYN at the Bibleway House of Blessings church with the Christmas musical, “Hosanna In The Highest.” Written & Directed by John Brown, Hosanna In the Highest is an original Christmas cantata stage musical centered around the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Musical, Hosanna In the Highest, pushes the limits of the natural eye and gives an in-depth look into the spiritual realm, unfolding the events before and after the birth of Jesus Christ. The musical includes the romance of Mary & Joseph, the meticulous planning of the Devil, Jester & Herod to sabotage the will of God and the outcomes of those who were obedient to the messages of the Holy angels. This musical will leave you on the edge of your seats anticipating what will happen next.
Characters Needed

LUCIFER/ DEVIL : $250 role. NO SONGS. Must be good at handling text. Must be open to stage makeup. The leader of the fallen angels, Lucifer, is countered by the archangel Michael, head of God's heavenly host, due to his prideful rebellion. Lucifer wields formidable power, exemplifying malevolence, evil intentions, cunning, duplicity, and clever manipulation.
He articulates persuasive falsehoods to attain his goals, aiming to surpass God's plans. His ultimate objective is to prevent Christ's birth.
Must be able to perform stage combat.
