PROTOTYPE Festival Production Overhire Crew – January 2025

PROTOTYPE: Opera|Theatre|Now, the annual Festival of global opera-theatre and music-theatre works co-produced by Beth Morrison Projects and HERE Arts Center, is seeking production overhire department heads and general overhire to assist with load-ins, strikes, and the running of technical rehearsals and performances for the Festival productions.

The overall dates for the Festival production activities span December 26, 2024-January 25, 2025, with Lead positions involved in some flexible remote prep in the months leading up to the Festival. Overhire crew will report to the Festival Production Manager as well as the Production Manager for each individual production.

Schedule and Compensation:

The PROTOTYPE production period takes place from December 26 - January 25, 2025. Dates for each Festival production are slightly different. Conflicts will be accepted on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the Festival Production Manager.

Department Head Rate: $38/hr

General Overhire Rate: $30/hr
