Job Details

DESCRIPTION

a. Prepare and deliver props lists prior to the first rehearsal

b. All requested hand props and furniture are delivered in accordance with rehearsal needs

c. Build, pull, and shop for all hand props, furniture, and set dressing for all productions

d. Supervise and mentor Props Intern

e. Maintain props inventory, including the repair of broken or damaged props and replacing perishables as needed

f. Keep the props work and storage areas clean and in good working order

g. Maintain an active inventory of props with a checkout sheet to track assets

h. Return all rented or loaned props after the show closes

i. Participate in load-in and strike

j. Communicate regularly with the Technical Director regarding schedules, team, and show needs

k. Maintain expense reports and budgets, with weekly reporting to the Production Manager

l. Attend rehearsals, calls, and meetings as required

m. Assist other departments as necessary to execute the technical elements of shows

n. Perform other duties as assigned

$825.00 – $850.00 per week
