THE PLAY

2025 (working title) - After the worst hurricane in US history devastates New York the mayor forms the NY Citizens' Assembly on Climate Change to appease a city in riot. Dawn, a first generation American who lost her mother in the storm, is one of 150 New Yorkers chosen by lottery to help determine government policy on climate. The Assembly and Dawn soon draw the ire of the largest power brokers in the world as they struggle to protect our only home.

Using projections created by Emmy winner and Oscar nominated Lydia Dean Pilcher, and continually updating with current events and footage, the play blurs fact and fiction and joins the calls for our city to take action.

THE COMPANY
6th Fest is a production house and movement builder for life on this planet. It began as a fringe festival in Chicago in 2020 and has since put on over 40 events with hundreds of participants. It last partnered with Theatre of War for An Enemy of the People: Extinction Rebellion in Times Square, starring Bill Murray, Jay O Sanders and featuring festival founder Nate Smith.
